Who would have thought that the strong friendship that Geri had with the girls during her years as a Spice Girl would suddenly be broken because of differences surrounding the group. In May 30, two weeks before the debut of the North American Tour, the official announcement was made that Geri Halliwell resigned as being a Spice Girl. Millions of fans were hurt by the disturbing news, but the remaining four remained intact and promised that they will stay together and perform in the upcoming tour. With her flaming red hair, and an in your-face attitude, she was the most prominent Spice Girl of the all. The most popular and the most sexy Spice Girl was her title (according to numerous polls). She was also titled to be the leader and the one with the brains. She was the one that got credit for taking care of the group when their old manager (Simon Fuller) was fired. So, as the four remaining Spice Girls (Posh, Scary, Baby, and Sporty) carry on with their carreer, Geri will always be a Spice Girl.
